Map number seven. Jan 2012. After spinning my wheels with a recon of King's, and the frustration, and ultimate failure, of kqn3, I opted to attempt to silence one of the constant cries for someone to fix older now unplayable maps. Yes, inspired by ut_sands. Sands became unplayable due to the removal of the func_keyboardinterface entity. In other words, the helicopter no more go. Plus, with the increase in model size, changes in gamma, etc... At this time, FSK405 had upwards of, and exceeding, 30 players showing for our Sunday Scrims. 15 per side for most maps is not too much fun. So, I was trying to come up with map ideas to handle larger numbers of players for CTF. I came up with the idea of Tatooine, a nice sandy planet, but a cat version. A Kat version. Instead of a helicopter, I made a landspeeder inspired vehicle, and then made a second one to make it fair for both teams. Since I was still new to doing the func_train thing, I did not have rotational aspects going, and made the vehicles round. Unfortunately, thanks to my texture choices, these became known as "the cheeseburgers". Okay, not unfortunately, because thta is HYSTERICAL!
